Andrea Giacobbe got his start in fashion photography, and then branched out into film. The one-minute short below was his first commercial film, commissioned by the European TV station ARTE, for the program *Tracks*. All his other videos are for bands, as you’ll see if you click through to his website.

Particles isn’t beautifully poetic like Uyen Luu’s Sample and it’s certainly more political then most of my links. But the piece has merit, both as a work and commentary. Don’t worry, the world will be ok. I believe larger Quicktime segments are still available at undergroundfilm.org.

To be fair he does do a remarkably funny piece available at infringement.jinak.cz I hadn’t seen before. A nice counter-piece. I’ll be watching the two back to back.
