Psapp

June 5th, 2006 zach.garner

Psapp is the collective experiences of Carim Clasmann and Galia Durant, a London based pair of anoraks whose mutual obsession with odd noises and heart-prodding pop has resulted in a sound that sneakily slips between genres, dabbling with electronica, and glitchy folk and jazz.

Lullatone

May 29th, 2006 zach.garner

Lullatone has created worlds where the sounds are gentle, interesting, varied, layered, and evocative of afternoon sunshowers, dreamy summer naps and languid days spent painting, writing, and watching the moon move across the sky. This music is contemporarily electronic, but full of the natural world, be they the sounds of drinking orange juice, or the sense you get of being outside while listening to Lullatone at your computer with your headphones on.

Efterklang

May 20th, 2006 zach.garner

…Emotion - real feeling - is an essential ingredient of Efterklang’s music. The sum effect borders on the sacred. The music in its patience and sense of perseverance imparts a sense of sympathetic healing. It is really difficult not to be enchanted.

Unfortunately Love in the Time of Science is the album featured here and no-one seems to carry it.
Well, almost no-one: music.allofmp3.com/mp3/Emiliana_Torrini/group_571/albref_14/mcatalog.shtml.
