Sully

Sully is a band I’ve deeply admired for a long time now.

Unfortunately it appears they are missing in action, so the link I’ve put up is a Garageband.com link. *If* they have in fact stopped producing music they will be sorely, sadly, truly and pitifully missed.

Note the missing press picture…this is all I could dig up (hint hint).

The Arrogants

My current favorites are oscillating between Nobodys Cool and Why T.A.N.G. Is My Favorite Band. But I’ve never been very good at picking out favorites with them.

They’ve got lots of good (congratulations) news on their site and a couple of previews of tracks for their next (June 2005) album. (!!!)

Radium 88

Their website says: sci-fi trip-hop. Trip hop for me was one of the genres that somehow mostly missed the boat. Radium88 took their own boat. Thankfully.

Genre hopping at its finest. Always catchy and always on target.

Despite the humor and hipness factor there is more sincere, rich and honest self-reflection in their albums then most. More then I’d expected.
