Okay. Strictly speaking I’m a necktie free zone. I know they can be nice and some people wear them very well. That said, if I *was* going to choke myself with something beautiful, it would probably be from Sovereign Beck. Making something I hate look cool enough to make me forget I hate it. Nice.
JBL is one of those component manufacturers that seem to have been around forever. Something I’d typically ignore. Then I saw these. Who cares how they sound? I think just looking that them could improve their fidelity. Maybe even your life.
Now if only the rest of the world would follow the European example and *credit* the designer I’d truly be pleased.

One thing for sure, there’s something there that will surprise you: an old school Nintendo Boo t-shirt, a more recent school MMORPG apparel, your plain old ducktape watch… *heh*
Although I wouldn’t consider myself a fan of non-functional small items (painting/photographs excluded, and the occasional lamp or vase) Christel Marott’s Gemini piece is interesting, beautiful and slighly disarming.
Ear buds have become the new fashion accessory. You can probably blame Apple directory for this. They make nice looking stuff. *shrug*
But if you want something that’s both cute *and* moderately anti-social, you know, to show everybody that your both hip and slightly deranged, these might be the way to go.
